Konnichiwa! :)

I'll be posting my translation of the news about Inoo's butai in Mezamashi!~

Note: My translation is NOT 100% accurate. Please feel free to correct me nicely if you have already watched it~ :D

reporter: Hey! Say! JUMP's Inoo Kei is having a hard time in speaking Kansai dialect.

The other day was the opening day of Inoo Kei's first lead role in the stage play, Karafuto Ojisan, that was held in Tokyo Globe Theater.

This play is about how the young people, whose hearts are still in pain, recover and regain their hopes after the Great Hanshin earthquake 10 years ago.

All of the lines were in Kansai dialect so Inoo, coming from Saitama, considerably had a difficult time.

Masu Takeshi (guy on the right): At any rate, it was very hard at first!

My Kansai dialect was extremely jumbled!

Even if I practice, my accent doesn't change but one night my accent was suddenly rising!

Is this what we call, "Similar things turning up one after another?"

Matsunaga Reiko (lady on the left): I'm now able to do a tsukkomi (serious person in a comedy duo) ne~

At first I thought, "ah, how should I do this" Something like that...

Inoo Kei: To improve my Kansai dialect, I try to connect with variety shows hahaha. (*translator's note: maybe variety shows that have hosts who speak in Kansai dialect?*)

reporter: With the help of his coactors, Inoo-san was able to grow remarkably in this play.

hai! I hope you enjoyed reading this :) It's not much but.. yeah I did my best hahaha!
